Egypt’s inmates to be allowed 2 extra visits in Ramadan

CAIRO - 8 March 2024: All inmates will be granted two exceptional visits during Ramadan besides their scheduled visits, according to a Thursday statement by the Ministry of Interior.

The additional visits will allow inmates to see their families more often during the holy month. 

The ministry often allows such exceptional visits during national holidays, which also often coincides with presidential pardons.
