EMA: Egypt to witness hot weather Thursday, Cairo records highs of 27 degrees

CAIRO - 28 February 2024: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority expects a hot weather to prevail during the day on Thursday in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
 
The weather will also be hot in South Upper Egypt, and temperature will record lower degrees at night in most parts.
 
The Meteorological Authority expects Thursday to witness water mist in the morning on some agricultural and highway roads near bodies of water leading to and from areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.
 
The Authority also expects that on Thursday, wind activity will occur on areas of the northern coast, stirring up sand and dust in the far west of the country at intermittent intervals.
 
The Meteorological Authority indicated that all regions will witness a rise in temperatures tomorrow, explaining the expected temperatures on Thursday, as follows:
 
 
Greater Cairo records highs of 27 degrees and lows of 18
 
Alexandria records highs of 24 and lows of 16
 
Matrouh records highs of 22 degrees and lows of 12
 
Great Sohag records highs of 29 degrees and lows of 14
 
Great Qena records highs of 30 degrees and lows of 15
 
Aswan Great records highs of 30 degrees and lows of 16 degrees.
