Minister of Education reviews results Executive Committee for National Dialogue recommendations

CAIRO – 20 February 2024: Egypt’s Minister of Education Reda Hegazy chaired on Tuesday the meeting of the Executive Committee for the recommendations and outputs of the Education Committee, which was held within the framework of Egypt’s National Dialogue.

Hegazy stressed during the meeting that the launch of the National Dialogue reflected the extent of the positive societal participation of the various parties in the National Dialogue.

The Minister reviewed the results of the efforts of the Executive Committee, which he directed to form to implement the recommendations, Hegazy confirmed that they are in line with the objectives of the Ministry’s strategic plan 2024/2029, which it sought with all efforts to implement a large part of it over the past period.

The Minister also stressed the Ministry's keenness to achieve integration between civil society, the private sector, and the government sector, which works to achieve development goals and develop the educational system.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Quality and Strategic Planning, Dr. Amr Basila, Head of the Central Administration for Technical Education Development, Dr. Hala Abdel Salam, Head of the Central Administration for Public Education, Dr. Akram Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Curriculum Development, and Dr. Iman Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Student Activities. Professor Khaled Abdel Hakam, Head of the Central Administration for Directorate Affairs, and Dr. Rabab Zidane, Director General of the General Administration for Educational Leadership Affairs.
