Egyptian Red Crescent prepares 90 aid trucks for delivery to Gaza Strip

CAIRO – 7 January 2024: The Egyptian Red Crescent is preparing 90 aid trucks, including four carrying fuel, for delivery to Gaza Strip through Rafah Border Crossing. The shipment consists of food, medical supplies, medicines, water, and other types of humanitarian aid.

 

On Saturday, four trucks transporting fuel and 70 others transferring various humanitarian aid headed to Gaza through the same crossing.

 

On Wednesday, 127 aid trucks and seven ambulances entered Gaza Strip from Egypt, including four ambulances provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and three ambulances from the State of Kuwait, as well as four gas tanks.

 

From the Palestinian side to the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing, a new batch of wounded arrived, being transferred successively for treatment to Egyptian hospitals in North Sinai and the cities of Canal, Cairo and Sharqia, in addition to the arrival of new numbers of foreign nationals who leave Gaza on their way to their countries via Cairo Airport and will be received at the airport.
