Complete interruption of Internet services in Gaza due to Israeli bombing

CAIRO – 26 December 2023: The Palestinian Telecommunications Company announced, Tuesday a complete interruption of Internet services in Gaza Strip.

The company explained that its technical crews are working to restore services despite the seriousness of the conditions inside the strip.

As many as 151 aid trucks and 7 ambulances entered the war-battered Gaza Strip through Rafah border crossing on Tuesday, said an official source in North Sinai.

The source added that the trucks were laden with large quantities of fuel, cooking gas, food items, humanitarian and medical supplies, medicines, tents and blankets, as well as supplies to field hospitals in addition to seven ambulances.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanded Tuesday the United Nations to declare famine in Gaza Strip due to the genocide committed by Israel noting that 800,000 Palestinians have no access to healthcare northern the enclave.

The ministry added that 5,000 need to receive treatment abroad, and that the death and injuries recorded in the past 24 hours are 200 and 300, respectively.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Monday that since October 7, Israel has killed at least 20,674 people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and injured 54,536 Palestinians.
