Polish tourist deported after harassing 2 Egyptian women, engaging in pro-Israel slur

CAIRO – 16 November 2023: The Egyptian authorities deported this week a Polish tourist and banned him from entering the country again after harassing two Egyptian young women in Dahab.

When they were taking a video to document the incident, his response was that the land belonged to Israel, and that they had no knowledge of politics. The video went viral on social media causing uproar among Egyptian users.

The incident took place in tandem with Israeli shelling of Gaza Strip since a Hamas attack on October 7. Yet, the victims are civilians whose number is nearing 12,000 in addition to tens of thousands of injuries, including dozens of children who became incapacitated. What's more, over 70 percent of deaths are children and women.
