Egyptian FM meets with senior official at Palestine's Fatah movement

CAIRO – 7 November 2023: Secretary of the Central Committee of the Palestinian Fatah Movement Jebril al-Ragoub met Tuesday Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokry to confer over the war in Gaza and endeavors to contain its repercussions on different levels.

Ragoub displayed the field and humanitarian conditions in Gaza and the West Bank. In a related context, he expressed appreciation for the Egyptian role in supporting the Palestinian Cause for long decades.

Minister Shokry stressed the importance of not allowing the termination of the Palestinian Cause, asserting that the only way to establish peace and coexistence in the region is the two-state solution by establishing a Palestinian State on the 1967 borders, having as capital Eastern Jerusalem.
