CAIRO – 7 November 2023: A total of 100 Egyptian citizens have been evacuated from the Gaza Strip, Al Qahera News reported.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said on Monday that a Palestinian is martyred every 4 minutes as a result of the ongoing occupation aggression against the afflicted Strip for 31 days, which has now resulted in more than 10,000 martyrs.

A group of critically injured Palestinians have been transported to Egypt to receive medical treatment on Monday, announced the Egyptian Ministry of Health in a statement.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that a medical examination was conducted on all 17 cases, and they were accurately diagnosed.

Also, medical examinations were conducted for 166 foreign nationals, including 42 children, who were vaccinated with polio, measles, and mumps vaccines.

Meanwhile, Egyptian hospitals had begun receiving cases of children with cancer from the Gaza Strip, Al Qahera news reported.

On 5 November 2023, Egypt refused to allow the evacuation of dual nationals through Rafah Border Crossing in response to Israel’s rejection of the transfer of a number of the injured from Palestinian hospitals to Egyptian counterparts, Al Qahera News.

Another batch of Palestinians holding other nationalities, consisting of 400, arrived at Egypt’s Rafah Border Crossing Thursday one day after the entry of 335, as reported by Extra News.
