CAIRO - 19 October 2023: A number of Egyptian parliamentarians have voiced their denouncement to the massacres that are committed by the Israeli forces against Palestinian civilians in Gaza, while international human rights organizations standing silent.
 
Representative Ahmed Idris, a member of the House of Representatives, condemned what happened in Gaza when Israel targeted the Baptist Hospital, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of innocent citizens.
 
Idris was astonished by the international and human rights organizations that stood by and watched the massacres taking place against the defenseless Palestinian people, the bloodshed and the brutal killing of children, without anyone doing anything.
 
Idris added that the west turns a blind eye to what is happening in terms of Israel's crimes against the Palestinian people, and condemns the resistance and the people of Palestine's self-defense, stressing that the entire matter should be referred to the International Criminal Court for investigation.
 
He also stressed the need to stop the Israeli aggression, and allow humanitarian corridors to preserve the lives of innocent people.
 
Representative Ahmed Ashour in the House of Representatives stressed that targeting the Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip amounts to genocide and a heinous crime against humanity, stressing the necessity of referring these heinous crimes committed by the Zionist entity against Gaza and humanity to the International Criminal Court.
 
In the same context, Ashour questioned the role of the international community that acts as a spectator, especially the international organizations that were unable to protect the blood of the Palestinians.
 
Ashour expressed his astonishment of the west's sympathy with the Zonist entity, while the lack of its action towards what's happening in Gaza, from targeting of civilians and safe people. 
 
Meanwhile, Representative Muhammad Abdullah Zain Al-Din, a member of the House of Representatives, confirmed that the Israeli bombing of Al-Ahly Baptist Hospital is a new evidence of the brutality of the occupation and its violation of all international charters and agreements. 
 
In his press statements, Zain al-Din asked: What are the world, the Security Council, the United Nations, and international parliaments waiting for? Are they waiting for the elimination of the entire Palestinian people, or are they waiting for the displacement of the Palestinians to execute the Israeli plan?
 
The member of the House of Representatives stressed the need for the countries of the world to intervene to stop this brutal Israeli aggression and save the children and women.
 
Zein El-Din stressed that Egypt's position on the Palestinian issue and its efforts to solve it are not new, but rather a consistent position throughout history.
