Sisi receives phone call from Cypriot president on Gaza

CAIRO - 17 October 223: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a Tuesday phone call from Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides on the situation in Gaza. 

The call comes as part of the ongoing consultations between the two presidents regarding developments in Gaza Strip. They agreed on the severity of the humanitarian repercussions on civilians, as well as the consequences of expanding the circle of conflict on the stability of the region.

Sisi reviewed the tireless efforts made by Egypt to ease the tension and to provide humanitarian aid to the people in Gaza Strip.
