CAIRO - 16 October 2023: The Palestinian Ministry of Interior in Gaza confirmed on Monday that the Strip is suffering from a very severe crisis in the availability of drinking water in light of the continued Israeli aggression.

The ministry noted that the occupation has not pumped any liter of drinking water to any of the Strip’s governorates for the tenth day in a row, forcing Palestinian citizens to drink unsafe water, and this heralds a serious health crisis that threatens the lives of citizens.

On Monday, the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip announced the firing of a rocket salvo at Beersheba, in response to the Israeli occupation’s targeting of Palestinian civilians.

An informed Egyptian source denied on Monday reports that an agreement had been reached on a truce in Gaza, or that humanitarian aid had begun to enter the Strip. As Israel continues to deny a humanitarian truce in south, the number of civilians killed thus far has reached 2,808.
