788 Palestinians killed, 4.1K injured by Israeli airstrikes

CAIRO – 10 October 2023: The Palestinian Ministry of Health updated Tuesday the figures of casualties since the morning of October 7 as the number of deaths recorded 788, while injuries amounted to 4,100.

 

Those are mostly in Gaza Strip with the figures being 770 and 4,000, respectively. That is in addition to 18 deaths, including three children, and around 100 injuries in the West Bank.

 

The Israeli Ministry of Health declared Monday that casualties among the Israelis recorded 700. As for the injuries, they stand at 2,382, including 345 who are seriously injured and 22 who are in critical conditions. Further, there are at least 100 Israelis who fell hostages in the hands of Hamas.

 

On Saturday, Hamas launched an offensive against Israeli settlements bordering Gaza, triggering Israeli airstrikes. As a consequence, news of deaths and injuries on both sides have been perpetuating.
