Palestinians set fire to an Israeli tank after October 7 offensive on settlements in occupied lands.
CAIRO – 8 October 2023: Hamas' Qassam Brigades launched Saturday an offensive on Israeli settlements on the occupied lands by firing 5,000 missiles in 20 minutes, invoking airstrikes on Gaza Strip and incurring scores of casualties on both sides.
The Palestinian Health Ministry declared Sunday that the death toll hit 370, including 20 children and seven from the West Bank, in addition to 2,200 injuries.
On the other hand, the Israeli Health Ministry announced that the number of deaths and injuries had amounted to over 600 and 2,040, respectively, and that 100 civilians and soldiers fell hostages.
