Egypt comes in 3rd place in Arab World for quality of education

CAIRO - 2 October 2023: Egypt has worked over the past years to improve the educational system for technical education in Egyptian universities.

 

In December 2021, the House of Representatives approved a draft law establishing the Egyptian Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Technical Education and Vocational Training.

 

Egypt advanced 14 places in the growth pillar of the Global Talent Competitiveness Index in 2022, advancing from 90th place in 2021 to 76th place in 2022.

 

Egypt advanced in the global rankings for the quality of education in 2022 and came in third place in the Arab world, according to the “Us News” global classification, jumping from 39th place in 2021 to 37th place in 2022, among 85 countries in the world.

 

Egypt also advanced 3 places, coming in 86th place out of 132 countries in 2023, compared to 89th place out of 132 countries in 2022.
