National Dialogue's Board of Trustees convenes to elevate recommendations to President El-Sisi

CAIRO - 16 August 2023: Dhiyaa Rashwan, the general coordinator for the National Dialogue, announced that the Board of Trustees for the dialogue is currently in session, to follow the prescribed procedures of the dialogue regulations, and consider the recommendations and proposals that have been finalized by the drafting committees.

These have been presented to the board by the heads of the dialogue committees and their assistants, and then to the general coordinator and his assistant for each sector.

Rashwan clarified that the board is reviewing these recommendations and proposals as the outcomes of the first phase of the dialogue. The dialogue sessions will continue to discuss topics that have not been addressed to date. He added that the Board of Trustees is presently in session and will, by the end of the day, submit the results of the dialogue to the President of the Republic.
