CAIRO - 16 August 2023: The urban renaissance of the new republic spread to various parts of Egypt, with Matrouh governorate having an ample share of it by establishing two cities per the latest architectural style.
The two cities are: the new city of El Alamein, which dazzled everyone who visited it, and the city of Ras al-Hikma.
The new city of El Alamein was established, on the northwestern coast; it is one of the giant national projects, and it reflects positively on the status of preserving the map of tourism and global trade.
The state aims to transform the city of Ras al-Hikma, located east of Marsa Matrouh, into one of the most important tourist destinations around the world, similar to New Alamein, due to its proximity to El Alamein Airport and Marsa Matrouh Airport.
The state plans to attract thousands of tourists from different countries of the world, to enjoy Ras el-Hekma's warm beaches in winter and the most distinguished and beautiful natural view.
The new city extends from the Dabaa area at kilo 70 to kilo 30 east of Marsa Matruh on the coastal road, with a length of 40 kilometers on the coastal strip, and a depth of 4 kilometers towards the sea.
