CAIRO - 6 August 2023: Six National Dialogue sessions will be held this week; meanwhile, the proposals and recommendations committee will convene intensively to keep up.

The six sessions will be divided equally amongst the three axes of the National Dialogue: social, political, and economic axes.

Secretary-General of National Dialogue, Diaa Rashwan, told Extra News on Sunday that the mini-committee of the electoral system will submit proposals to the Board of Trustees, which will study them swiftly and submit them to the President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

Rashwan added that proposals are submitted to Sisi the way they were drafted and no proposals are excluded. There is also no vote on which proposals to submit.

A proposal on preventing discrimination is still being worked on, while the proposals on child trusteeship and local cooperatives are unanimously agreed upon.
