Ukrainian defense minister thanks US for its approval to supply his country with cluster bombs

KIEV, July 8 (MENA) - Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Rezniko on Saturday thanked the US for its approval to provide Ukraine with cluster bombs.

Rezniko tweeted that Ukraine had officially requested these kinds of munitions.

The Ukrainian official asserted his country will remain committed to all international humanitarian agreements signed by Ukraine that call for using the weapons to liberate the Ukrainian lands in non-urban areas.
