KIEV, July 5 (MENA) - As a result of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression, 494 children have been killed and 1,048 more have been injured in Ukraine, Ukrinform News Agency said.

“As of the morning of July 5, 2023, more than 1,543 children were affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation, "the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office said in a post on Telegram Wednesday.

"According to the official information provided by juvenile prosecutors, 494 children were killed and more than 1,048 received injuries of various degrees of severity,” according to it.

It is noted that these figures are not final, as work is underway in the areas of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the afternoon of July 4, the Russian army struck Pervomaiske with an Iskander missile, injuring 43 people, including 12 children.
