Egypt to witness gradual decrease in temperatures, light chances of rain

CAIRO- 10 April 2023: Egypt’s Meteorological Authority expects, Monday, a gradual decrease in temperatures that will continue during the coming few days, so that cold weather will prevail in the morning, hot in the daytime on Greater Cairo.

Northern coasts and South Sinai, will witness warm weather, as it will be hot on the south of the country, cold at night over both of the northern areas and south of the country.

It is also expected that the weather will witness wind activity in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, Canal cities, central Sinai, and south Upper Egypt.

Chances of light to medium rain on Greater Cairo, and the northern coasts, are also expected along with thunderstorms in the Red Sea governorate and the Canal cities.

As for the temperatures on Monday:

Cairo sees highs of 26 degrees and lows of 14 degrees

Alexandria sees highs of 21 and lows of 14 degrees

Matrouh sees highs of 20 and lows of 14 degrees

Sohag sees highs of 33 and lows of 19 degrees

Qena sees highs of 36 and lows of 18 degrees

Aswan sees highs of 37 and lows. 19 degrees.
