KYIV, March 8 (MENA) - Russia’s air strike on residential buildings killed nine people in Sumy city in northeastern Ukraine, including two children, Ukrinform reported on Tuesday quoting a press statement by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine wrote on its Telegram "In Sumy, rescuers eliminated the consequences of the air strike, which the enemy ruthlessly inflicted on the residential sector… According preliminary data, the shelling killed 9 people, including 2 children."

On March 7, Russia’s aircraft struck multi-apartment buildings located on Romenska and Spartak streets in Sumy.
