Libyan house speaker probes with Palestinian PM Libya's support for Palestinians

CAIRO - 15 February 2022: Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives Aquila Saleh has reiterated his country's support for the Palestinian people and their rights.

Saleh's statements came during a meeting Tuesday in Al Qobba city in northeastern Libya with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh arrived here on Sunday, accompanied by an official delegation.

According to the Libyan news agency, the two sides reviewed Libyan-Palestinian relations, the Libyan support to the Palestinian cause, the latest conditions in the Palestinian territories and issues of mutual concern.

A number of agreements are expected to be signed between the two countries in various fields.
