HURGHADA - Egypt - 9 July 2017: The head of the Red Sea reconstruction body Hosni Ali said that the volume of ventures implemented in all cities of the governorate over the past three years reached EGP 1.8 billion.

In statements on Sunday during the monthly youth conference, Ali said that the projects included developing shanty towns in Ras Gharib and establishing New Ras Gharib Hospital, 496 housing units with a total cost of EGP 454 million.

He further underlined that the cost of the ventures that were implemented in Hurghada reached EGP 291 million, adding that the projects included building playgrounds and developing Hurghada General Hospital besides developing slums.

In Safaga, 300 housing units were established besides developing shanty towns with a total cost of EGP 108 million, Ali reiterated.
