Health min.: Tourism in Egypt safe

CAIRO, March 8 (MENA) - Minister of Health Hala Zayed asserted that the tourism sector in Egypt is safe, urging workers in the sector to follow the necessary health measures to protect them from contagious diseases.

This came on Sunday during Zayed's tour in Karnak Temple accompanied by Minister of Tourism Khaled el Anani, Minister of Aviation Mohamed Manar and Luxor Governor Moustafa Alham.

The tour comes within the framework of following up the plan of the state to face coronavirus (COVID 19).

Spokesman for Health Ministry Khaled Megahed said that Zayed asserted that Egypt is safe and there is no need to panic.
