CAIRO, Feb 16 (MENA) - EgyptAir received on Wednesday the second Airbus A320neo which is part of a batch of 15 planes purchased by the national airliner.

The first Airbus A320neo which the company received on February 15 will start operation today with first flight heading for Abu Dhabi.

Bringing all the standards of comfort and incorporating new engine choices, aerodynamic improvements, and the latest cabin features, the A320neo Family will offer up to 20 percent savings in fuel burn per seat by 2020, two tons of additional payload, 500 nautical miles of more range, lower operating costs, along with a nearly 50 percent reduction in engine noise and NOx emissions 50 percent below the current industry standard.

It is configured with 142 seats in two classes including 16 seats in the business-class cabin.
