CAIRO - 30 January 2020: Australia's Ambassador in Cairo Glenn Miles on Thursday made a tour of all archaeological spots in Minya governorate.

The Australian diplomat and his family members are on visit to the Upper Egyptian governorate.

On the second day of his visit, the Australian ambassador strolled over Bani Hassan al Shorouk archaeological site, which houses 39 ancient tombs.

On his part, Tharwat Al Azhary, the director of the tourism department in Minya, said that the ambassador's program included a visit to the cemeteries of Bani Hassan, where he was given a detailed explanation of drawings showing some aspects of the daily life of ancient Egyptians.
