CAIRO - 12 September 2018: EgyptAir is set to start operating new flights to the Chinese city of Hong Kong as of September 17, according to Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company Ahmed Adel.

In a statement on Wednesday, Adel said that his company is always seeking to open up new markets in the world's major countries, underscoring that the Far Eastern destinations are viewed as promising markets in the aviation and air transport fields.

For his part, Chairman of EgyptAir Airlines Sherif Ezzat said that the company will operate two weekly flights on board its Airbus 300-330 aircraft to Hong Kong on Mondays and Fridays.

Ezzat added that the flights will pass through Bangkok.
