CAIRO - 17 June 2018: EgyptAir will be operating 11 charter flights carrying fans on board to Russia to support the national team in their second game against Russia at the 2018 World Cup.

Ten flights are set to carry 1,700 people on Monday, while one will fly on Sunday with 150 on board, said the flag carrier on Sunday.

This is in addition to regular flights to Moscow on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, it noted.

EgyptAir started on Thursday a plan of charter flights to carry Egyptians seeking to boost the Pharaohs, who are competing in Group A with Russia, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay.

Egypt's team was defeated 0-1 in the opener against Uruguay on Friday. It will face Russia on Tuesday.
