CAIRO – 15 October 2017: Abdeen Palace is different from other historic palaces; it is one that hosts five museums in its corridors. Walking from one museum to another takes you to a royal past as you watch beautiful exhibits.

The Royal Fishing Museum, Weapons Museum, Silverware Museum, Medals Museum and Presidential Museum, all can be visited at Abdeen Palace. Every museum reveals an untold story.

Once you enter through a huge gate, you will find two rich gardens and two open-air museums called the Tea Museum. It is on the right side where the royal family used to sit to drink tea. The Music Museum is where the royal family watched and listened to musical performances.

The Weapon Museum is the first museum you see. It comprises samples of weapons used in the once Egyptian Kingdom. There are also weapons from all over world and the first and second World War.

The Royal Fishing Museum includes all fishing tools the ٌRoyal Family used, while the Silverware Museum gives us background about silver accessories that the royal family used.

On the other side, the Medal Museum comprises all royal medals and queens’ accessories. There are gifts from kings across the world on the same floor as the Presidential Museum. There are also presidential souvenir gifts to Egypt at the time the kingdom became a republic in 1952.
