Egypt organize Shooting World Cup in 2022

CAIRO, 1 March 2021: The International Shooting Federation, headed by Vladimir Lessen, announced the assignment of the organization of the World Shooting World Cup in March 2022 to Egypt.
 
In light of the successes achieved by Egypt in hosting the World Cup of Shooting with Firing from February 22 until March 5 2021 with the participation of 32 countries.
 
This comes within the framework of the International Shooting Federation's confidence in Egypt's ability to host major events, and given the resources and fields of shooting Egypt possesses at the highest level and enormous organizational capabilities.
 
And the International Federation assigned the task of hosting the World Cup for Shooting (rifle / pistol) for men and women to Egypt, where the champions of the game around the world will gather in the land of Egypt to compete for one of the most important tournaments.
 
While the President of the International Shooting Federation expressed his happiness at the wonderful organizational level of the World Cup of Shooting in Egypt, and the good hosting of all the participating teams, indicating that Egypt has become a destination to host the major tournaments.
 
For his part, Major General Hazem Hosni, President of the Egyptian and African Shooting Federations, expressed his happiness with the decision to organize the World Championship in Egypt, stressing that the Federation is progressing in a distinctive way in hosting the tournaments, and this decision confirms the confidence of the International Federation in our organizational capabilities.
 
Hosni indicated that the tournament will be held during the month of March 2022, and will witness fierce competition because it brings together the best shooters around the world, stressing that such tournaments represent strong friction for Egyptian shooters and provide them with opportunities to compete with the best players and different schools around the world.
