CAIRO, 8 February 2021: Al-Ahly media department cooperated with Bayern Munich before the two teams faced the semi-finals of the Club World Cup and released a video for the players of the two teams, in which they speak in Arabic and German.
Al-Ahly are set to play against FC Bayern Munich in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final on Monday night at Al Rayyan – Ahmed Bin Ali stadium at 08:00 PM.
In the video, Muhammad Al-Shennawi, Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim “Kahraba”, Ali Maaloul and Badr Bannon appeared in the video, speaking German and saying some phrases of support for Bayern Munich.

Robert Lewandowski, Joshua Kimmich, Jerome Boateng and Niklas Sule were also shown speaking Arabic and saying some phrases of Al-Ahly's encouragement.
Al Ahly vs Bayern Munich match is considered the first match between Egyptian team & European team in an official match.
This is considered the third match between Al Ahly & Bayern Munich; the first was a friendly match in 1977 which was won by Al Ahly 2-1 thanks to Mahmoud El Khatib winner.
The second was also a friendly match in 2012 in Qatar & it secured by Bayern Munich thanks to Olic brace.
