CAIRO-23 January 2021: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, was named Liverpool’s Player of the Month for November for the first time this season.

Liverpool fans voted for Salah after his huge contributions with his team in December, having scored six goals in right appearances with the Reds to maintain his position as the team’s top goal scorer in the Premier League this season.

"I want to thank the fans very much and tell them thank you very much for voting for me.” Salah said.

Salah and his teammates hope to get back to the right track as they are suffering a poor form in the recent weeks, having gained only three points from the last five matches in the league.

Salah commented on the team’s current form, saying “The situation is not great at the moment but we just need to focus on each game and stay together and carry on.”

The defending champions are now fourth in the standings, six points behind the leaders, Manchester United.

The Egyptian winger added “We just need to stay together, supporting the team, and I'm sure everything is going to be fine."

Liverpool are facing Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday night in the FA Cup.
