Playing against Denmark will be big: Argentina's coach in Egypt 2021

"We made several mistakes, some refereeing decisions went against us and we had several periods with suspensions," said Sigfússon.

 

"Facing DR Congo in the final match will be difficult. Our level is good, we can win in the third match to qualify to the main round but we need to avoid making the same mistakes we did today."

Bahraini pivot Abdullah Ali stated that some technical errors consigned them to defeat.

"Our main weapon was our desire," said Ali.

"If you want to win, you need to make the least number of mistakes, which is what we'll try to do against DR Congo."

Argentina coach Manolo Cadenas spoke about the next match against world champions Denmark in the final match of the preliminary round.

"Playing against Denmark will be big, and we will definitely try to do our best in order to win."

Argentinean right winger Federico Pizzaro spoke after the match, expressing his happiness at clinching the win.

"I'm happy with mine and my teammates' win against a strong Bahrain team.

This is the second match for both teams in the group that is being held at the Cairo stadium hall, as this group includes, along with Argentina and Bahrain, the teams of Denmark and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The day after tomorrow, Argentina will meet Denmark, while Bahrain will meet with the Democratic Republic of Congo.
