Egyptian Olympic team crowns international championship Champions after beating Brazil 2-1

CAIRO, 18 November 2020: The Egyptian Olympic team beat their Brazilian counterpart 2-1, in the friendly match that brought together the two parties at the Cairo International Stadium, Tuesday evening, within the framework of the friendly tournament preparations for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

 

The Olympic team wrote history as this is the first time for Egypt to beat Brazil in all ages.

 

The Brazilian team took the lead through Matheus Cunha in the 37th minute of the match, and the Pharaohs' youth rose up in the second half and scored in the net of Seleção through the duo, right-back Karim Al-Iraqi, and striker Ahmed Yasser Ryan with minutes 48 and 65.

 

The Egyptian Olympic team presented a distinguished technical level during the confrontation, especially in the second half.

 

The Egyptian national team had tied 0-0 in their last match against its South Korean counterpart.

Shawky Gharib, the technical director, made several changes in the ranks of the Young Pharaohs with the second thorns by pushing Nasser Mansi, Ghannam Muhammad, Mahmoud Al-Jazzar, Abdel Rahman Magdy and Osama Galal
