CAIRO-13 October 2020: Zamalek manager Jaime Pacheco announces Zamalek squad for the trip to Casablanca as Zamalek face the city giants Raja on Sunday in the CAF Champions League semi-finals.

Pacheco’s squad for the trip consists of: Mahmoud Gennesh, Mohamed Abo Gabal, Mohamed Awwad, Mohamed Sobhy, Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdelghany, Mahmoud El Wensh, Ahmed Eid, Hazem Imam, Mohamed Abdelshafy, Mohamed Abdelsalam, Abdullah Gomaa, Ferjani Sassi, Tarek Hamed, Mohamed Hassan, Youssef Obama, Karim Bambo, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Mahmoud Shikabala, Mohamed Antar, Eslam Gaber, Mostafa Fathy, Mohamed Ounajem, Achraf Bencherki, Mostafa Mohamed, Omar El Said and Kabongo Kasongo.

Zamalek delegation arrived at Cairo International Airport for the trip without Bencharki and Sassi, who joined their national teams during the International break, and they will join the team in Morocco.

Zamalek players aim to continue their continental success in recent years as the club won CAF Confederation Cup title last season, which is their first continental title since 2003.

Zamalek also clinched CAF Super Cup title after a 3_1 win over Tunisian giants, Esperance.

Zamalek fans aim to win the CAF Champions League title for the sixth time in the club's history and the first time since 2002.

In 2002 final, Zamalek won the title after defeating Raja Casablanca 1-0 in Cairo as the first leg in Morocco ended in a goalless draw.

The winner between Zamalek and Raja will face the winner between Al Ahly and Wydad Casablanca in the competition's final, scheduled on 6 November.
