CAIRO-1 October 2020: Egypt national team director Mohamed Barakat revealed that Egypt will face Togo in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers at Cairo stadium.

"We played the first game against Kenya at Borg El Arab stadium but we will face Togo in Cairo." Barakat told Filgoal.

Egypt comes third in the group with two draws with Kenya at home and Comoros in Moroni.

"We started the qualifiers with two draws but we seek to get the six points from the next two games against Togo." Barakat added.

The next International break is scheduled between 9 and 17 November and the Egyptian national team staff wanted to hold a closed camp prior to the game against Togo but the postponement of the CAF Champions League games made it difficult.

Barakat continued "Al Ahly and Zamalek will play on 6 November if they managed to reach the CAF Champions League final so it is difficult to hold a camp but we did not decide anything yet."

The national team will face Togo in Cairo and will meet them a week later in Lome.
