Zamalek, Pyramids face off in the biggest game of the week

CAIRO-3 September 2020: Pyramids host Zamalek on Thursday night at 30 June stadium in a fight for the second place spot as the two teams share the second place with 45 points each.
 
Zamalek are having a good run at the league since the restart of the competition as they achieved 14 points from four victories and two draws while their only loss came against Arab Contractors at the last minute of the game.
 
Zamalek's 3-1 victory over Al Ahly at Cairo Derby represented the pinnacle of the team's performance since the restart.
 
On the other hand, Pyramids players are on fire since the restart, having lost only two points against El Gaish in the game which ended with a 2-2 draw. 
 
Pyramids achieved four victories over Tanta, Smouha, El Entag El Harby and Aswan. 
 
Mohamed El Hanafy will take charge of the game and will be assisted by Ahmed Hossam and Samir Gamal . Mohamed Sayed Bakr will be the game's fourth official.
 
The two teams will miss some of their best players in the game. In the white camp, the team manager Patrice Carteron will enter the game without the heartbeat of the team, Tarek Hamed, for suspension.
 
On the other hand, Pyramids will miss their best player, Abdullah El Said, who sustained an injury during the game against Smouha. 
 
The two teams are 17 points behind the league leaders Al Ahly who face Wadi Degla on Friday night. 
 
The game starts on 20:30.
