CAIRO-13 August 2020: Juventus Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has been offered to Barcelona, according to the Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

Balague claims that Juventus are aiming to get him off the wage bill.

Italian reports linked Ronaldo with a move away from Turin after the club was knocked out from the UEFA Champions League against Olympique Lyonnais.

Juventus lost the first leg 1_0 in France while the second leg ended with a 2_1 victory for the Italian giants thanks to two goals from Ronaldo. But the two goals were not enough to keep Juventus in the competition.

Ronaldo joined Juventus in 2018 summer from Real Madrid, with the aim of leading the club to win the long-awaited UEFA Champions League title and to become the second player in the history to win Champions League titles with three different teams after Clarence Seedorf.

The Italian giants failed to achieve their target as they were knocked out of the competition's quarter-finals in 2019 against Ajax and this year they lost to Lyon.
