CAIRO, 10 August 2020: Zamalek football team concluded their training at Borg El Arab stadium in preparation to face Al-Ittihad of Alexandria on Monday, in the eighteenth round of the Egyptian League competition.

The training saw the participation of Moroccan duo Ashraf Bencharki and Mohamed Onajem in addition to Tarek Hamed, and the coaching staff, led by French Patrice Carteron, focused on some technical aspects and plans to implement them in the Al Ittihad match.

Carteron held a technical session with the players, in which he talked about the difficulty of the meeting and the need to focus on winning and obtaining the three points.

Carteron asked his players to appear at the best level and warned them against the excellence of the opposing team.

Zamalek had started the campaign to resume the league competition by beating Al-Masry with a goal without a response.

The balance of Zamalek rose to 34 points in second place, one point above Al Mokawloon, who is ranked third, and two points above Pyramids, who ranked fourth, and each of them has a match in excess of Zamalek.

It is decided that three points will be deducted from Zamalek at the end of the season, according to the penalty signed by the Egyptian Football Association.
