CAIRO-7 August 2020: Premier League giants Manchester City host LaLiga champions Real Madrid on Friday night in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg.

The tie was scheduled to be completed in March but the game was postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The English side secured a 2_1 win in the first leg in Madrid and they aim to book their place in the competition's quarter-finals.

"We are going to suffer in some moments, but we have the mentality to get through. We can win the Champions League, not only this match." Manchester City Spanish midfielder Rodri said.

The Spanish giants, who won three Champions League titles in a row between 2016 and 2018, aim to bounce back from the first leg loss and advance to the next round.

Real Madrid will miss their captain Sergio Ramos who was sent out in the first leg and their French manager Zinedine Zidane will count on Éder Militão to replace the veteran defender.

"We're going into the game with a disadvantage and we know that. Tomorrow is another match and the tie doesn't finish until the final minute." Zidane told press ahead of the game.

The game starts on 9:00 pm.
