Salah in doubt for Merseyside derby

CAIRO_18 June 2020: Liverpool Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah could miss his team's return to action on Sunday against Everton at Merseyside derby due to injury.

The Egyptian winger did not participate in Liverpool's training session on Wednesday to increase the doubts about his availability for the game.

Salah did not feature in his team's friendly game against Blackburn Rovers last week.

Liverpool are leading the league table with 82 points after playing 29 games and they are 22 points ahead of the second-placed and the defending champions Manchester City.

Liverpool have had an extraordinary season on the domestic level and they are two victories away from clinching the league title for the first time since 1990.
