CAIRO_11 June 2020: CAF Champions League remaining fixtures is set to be played in September, according to Moroccan reports.

The reports claimed that CAF agreed on resuming the final round of the competition next September.

Al Ahly, Zamalek from Egypt and the two Moroccan giants, Raja Casablanca and Wydad Casablanca, have secured the four spots of the semi-finals round.

According to the Moroccan reports, Zamalek will play against Raja on 4 September in Casablanca while Al Ahly will face Wydad on 5 September in the same city.

The second leg clashes will be played a week later in Cairo while the CAF Champions League final will be played on 25 September.

Al Ahly has won a record 8 CAF Champions League titles but they failed to win the title since 2013.

On the other hand, Zamalek players aim to continue their continental success in recent years as the club won CAF Confederation Cup title last season, which is their first continental title since 2003.

Zamalek also clinched CAF Super Cup title after a 3_1 win over Tunisian giants, Esperance.
