Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s manager, spoke about Liverpool’s recent performances following the Reds [Liverpool] 0-2 defeat against Chelsea in the FA Cup on Tuesday.

After the match, the German manager refused to talk about Liverpool’s recent defeat against Watford, but addressed Liverpool’s performance against Chelsea.

"I would really like it if you stop mentioning it [the Watford loss]. But we deserved to lose because they scored twice and we made massive mistakes for both goals,” Klopp said to BBC Sport, according to Goal.

Additionally, the 52 year old [Klopp] stressed that Liverpool needs to improve in the upcoming part of the season.

“We know we have to improve, it is not about destiny, not about not clicking here or there, it is all about us and we have to take it in the right way,” Klopp said, reporting from Goal.

Current Club World Cup title holders [Liverpool] sit in first place in the Premier League competition and are in the round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.

Liverpool will face AFC Bournemouth next Saturday in the Premier League before playing a decisive match against Atletico Madrid next Wednesday in the second leg of the round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.
