Al-Ahly’s delegation flied to Sudan at 4:00 on Thursday, in preparation for facing Al Hilal at the end of the group stage of the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly will be a guest of Al-Hilal on Saturday evening at Al-Gawhara Stadium. Al-Ahly tops the standings with 10 points, while Al-Hilal and ES Etoile equal with 9 points each.

It is scheduled that Syed Abdul Hafeez, the football director and Samir Adly, the administrative director, will receive the team’s delegation upon their arrival in Sudan.

Abdel Hafeez and Adly had preceded Al-Ahly’s mission on Wednesday, to check on all the arrangements for the team's trip, residence and security.

Coach Rene Weiler has set up the team’s program in Sudan and includes one training on, Friday, at Al Jawhara Stadium.

Weiler will hold a session with his coaching to study the Al Hilal team in video, in preparation for the start of his technical lectures with the players.

The coaching staff focuses during the video lectures on the match between Al Hilal against Zimbabwe's Platinum, which they won it 1-0.

Al Ahly needs to win or at least 1 point to guarantee qualifying to the 16th round of the CAF Champions League.
