The Egyptian Football Association sent an official letter to its Emirati counterpart requesting to hold the game between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, postponed from the fourth week in the league scheduled for February 24, in the UAE.

The league atch comes only 4 days after the local Super Cup match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek on the 20th of Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, so the Football Association prefers to play the two matches there, and the Football Association is awaiting the official response.

Mohamed Fadl, a member of the five-year committee in charge of managing the Football Association, announced the official date for the Egyptian Super Cup Meeting between Al-Ahly and Zamalek.

The Egyptian Super Cup match will be held at 09:00 p.m. in the evening on Thursday, the 20th of next February at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Mohamed Fadl revealed the completion of the agreement with the UAE federation, as well as "Presentation" company, the official sponsor of the Egyptian Association regarding the organizational matters related to the match.

Fadl traveled to the Emirates with Hossam Al-Zanati, Director of Egyptian Competitions, Super Cup Match coordinator, and Amr Al Bortqali from the marketing team, to finalize all the organizational matters.

The Egyptian delegation visited three stadiums before settling on the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, in the presence of 37,000 spectators.

The match will be managed by a foreign referee, which the Egyptian Referees Committee will select with the application of video technology during the match.
