CAIRO – 27 December 2019: Zamalek French manager, Patrice Carteron, trusts his players’ ability to put an end to their poor run at the domestic league and achieve a good result at the continental level.

Zamalek dropped 7 points at the last three games of the league after losing to El Gaish and drew with Smouha and El Entag.

The Whites are facing a tough test in Zambia when they meet the nation’s giants, ZESCO United, at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

“I am used to work under pressure as I was in charge of big teams in the continent like Mazembe and Raja Casablanca. We came here to win. I know we are facing a tough opponent but we need the three points.” Carteron said at the pre-game press conference.

CAF Confederation Cup champions, Zamalek, are having a good journey at CAF Champions League as they are second at the group with three points after defeating Angola’s Primeiro de Agosto 2-0 at matchweek 2.
