CAIRO – 27 December 2019: It was another magic night for Liverpool fans on Thursday as the Reds achieved an easy 4-0 victory over the second placed, Leicester City, at King Power stadium to extend their lead.

Liverpool gained 52 points from 18 games and they only dropped two points after a draw against Manchester United in Old Tarfford. The Reds are 13 points ahead of Leicester City who played 19 games and they could lose their position if Man City gained the three points against the Wolves on Friday night.

Liverpool’s victory came after a breathtaking performance from the team who just crowned FIFA Club World Cup Champions.

Liverpool right back, Trent Alexander-Arnold, was the main man behind his team’s victory as he provided two assists to Roberto Firmino’s double and his cross granted Liverpool a penalty as it was blocked by Leicester defender’s hands and was converted by James Milner.

Arnold scored the fourth goal in the game from a counter attack led by Sadio Mane who provided a wonderful pass to the youngster who smashed the ball in the back of the net.

Liverpool are facing the Wolves on Sunday at home and they hope to keep the winning streak alive and take more steps towards achieving the long-awaited Premier League title.
