Salah expresses his optimism in leading Egypt to 2022 World Cup

The Egyptian international, Mohamed Salah, expressed his optimism in leading Egypt to reach the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Liverpool won the championship for the first time in their history, after grabbing a marathon victory from Flamengo 1-0, at the Khalifa International Stadium.


Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, Liverpool player, was crowned the best player in the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar 2019.


Salah said: "God bless the victory and the championship. The organization was good and the championship matches were good."

He added, "I am optimistic about returning again to Qatar - to participate with the Egypt national team in the World Cup."

"I am very optimistic and confident of our ability to reach the 2022 World Cup and participate again in the World Cup."

"We are building a new generation, we need everyone's support, and I trust in our success in reaching 2022," he said.

Liverpool hugged gold for the first time after losing the 2005 championship final to Sao Paulo 1-0.

The Egyptian King, Salah also hugged gold to add another record to his records as the first Egyptian to win the World Cup championship.
