Salah with the award - FILE
Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, Liverpool player, was crowned the best player in the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar 2019.
Bruno Henrique, the Flamengo player, won the second-best player award after he scored a goal and assisted another in the tournament, and Carlos Eduardo, Al-Hilal player, won the bronze award.
As for Salah, he scored a goal in the Reds' 2-1 victory over Monterry, to become the first Egyptian and Arab to win the award.
Liverpool won the championship for the first time in their history, after grabbing a marathon victory from Flamengo 1-0, at the Khalifa International Stadium.
The Reds waited until the extra time in order to score the only goal of the meeting, after the end of the full time with a goalless draw.
And Bobby Firmino was the champion of the last moments, as usual, after he kidnapped the victory his team, beating Monterrey in the semi-final, to score this time in the first extra half.
Liverpool hugged gold for the first time after losing the 2005 championship final to Sao Paulo 1-0.
The Egyptian King, Salah also hugged gold to add another record to his records as the first Egyptian to win the World Cup championship.
