The fans of both teams are concerned; there is no favorite party. If you ask Barcelona fans, they will tell you, despite having Lionel Messi, they are not sure of victory. The same is true with Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane, despite the latter having a great record in Barcelona confrontations as a coach.

Why are both parties concerned? Despite their results in the league is the same, the performance is the main source of tension in both cases, so how does Zidane and Ernesto Valverde play and think before the Clasico and what are the problems facing them?

The Catalan club lost 3 times this season and drew twice, most notably the tie with Real Sociedad 2-2 before El Clásico at the beginning of this week.

Many criticisms were directed at Valverde and the team performance. Not much was different in the way Barcelona played than it was in the era after Pep Guardiola, the team is trying to build attacks from the back line and rely dynamically on the center of the field in the formation of those attacks.

Lionel Messi has become a vital and important component of these attacks, and his absence has become an inevitable setback for Valverde.

For Real Madrid, the start of the season was not good. A victory then two draws in a row, then another victory and a 3-0 loss from Paris Saint-Germain.

Zidane's first term witnessed many successes, most notably writing a historical record for winning three Champions League matches in a row.

Zidane faced Barcelona 7 times in his first term, he won 3, drew twice and lost twice, and the last confrontation brought the two teams to a 2-2 draw.
